Accused in Teen's Murder Transported to Hospital After Suspected Stroke
Linor Sasson, an accused accomplice in the murder of 19-year-old Binyamin Razi, was evacuated from Neve Tirtza prison to a hospital on Tuesday after reportedly suffering a stroke. Sasson, who is also the mother of the main suspect in the murder, had complained of severe headaches in recent days. Her condition worsened, leading to the decision to transfer her for medical treatment.
Razi was murdered in an Airbnb apartment in Jerusalem's Nachlaot neighborhood following an ongoing dispute with his girlfriend, Agam Tzarfati, who allegedly ordered the killing. Sasson is charged with aiding and abetting the murder and obstructing justice. According to the indictment, she helped some of the perpetrators escape and conceal evidence, including the knife believed to be used in the murder, which has not been recovered.
Six suspects were arrested shortly after the incident. Avi'or Sasson, another suspect, evaded capture for over two weeks before being apprehended.
