Friend of Benyahu Razi Denies Murder Accusations and Calls for Truth

Metanya, a friend of the late Benyahu Razi who was present during the murder in a Jerusalem apartment, strongly refuted claims made by the accused women that Benyahu was violent towards them. Speaking to N12 on August 15, 2026, Metanya called their allegations "lies" and said they were fabricating stories to reduce their sentences. He recalled a video call that took place in the apartment and denied that the women asked him to apologize to Benyahu, contradicting their version of events.

Metanya himself was injured by a stab wound during the attack and was the one who called emergency services, trying to stop Benyahu's bleeding. He expressed hope that the accused would stop lying and reveal the truth about what really happened. The police investigation revealed that Agam Tzarfati and Shilat Huta rented the apartment for the weekend and invited Benyahu and Metanya to join. After days of partying, the women claimed the men were violent, then went to another apartment where the situation escalated.

Police officer Rotem Hila Zaken described how the women armed themselves with weapons and attacked Benyahu and Metanya. Agam admitted in interrogation that one attacker hit Benyahu with a hammer, and another used an iron baton. Video evidence showed Agam watching the attack live and even smiling. Despite this, she later claimed ignorance of Benyahu's death, which investigators dismissed as a lie. The investigation also implicated Linor Sasson, who allegedly facilitated the murder by driving her son and trying to obstruct the investigation afterward. She reportedly instructed all involved to flee Jerusalem.
