Toddler Injured by Falling Wood Panel During Sukkah Construction
A one-year-old baby girl sustained moderate injuries at her home in Bnei Brak after a wooden panel fell on her head from a significant height. According to the family, the incident occurred during the construction of a sukkah, a temporary hut erected for the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. The panel reportedly fell from a height of approximately 2.5 meters (about 8 feet).
Emergency medical services from United Hatzalah provided initial treatment at the scene. The child was then transported by ambulance to the trauma unit at Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Campus in Petah Tikva. Her condition was described as moderate.
