U.S. President Donald Trump threatened Iran while nuclear-style negotiations were continuing in Switzerland. In a post on his Truth Social platform, he said Tehran must stop its agents in Lebanon from causing trouble.
Trump wrote that the “Islamic Republic” must halt what he described as its “envoys” in Lebanon, saying they are “well paid” and should be prevented from stirring up problems. He warned that if Iran does not do so, the United States will strike Iran “very hard” again.
He added that such an attack would be “exactly like we did last week, only stronger.” The remarks were framed as a direct warning to Tehran during the talks, and they singled out Hezbollah-linked activity in Lebanon as the issue Iran must address.
