Singer Yonatan Razel Returns to Piano After Complex Medical Event

Singer-songwriter Yonatan Razel has been filmed playing the piano again, approximately three months after being hospitalized for a complex medical incident. A family video shared on Monday by his sister, singer Rika Razel, shows Razel, dressed in white, singing and playing the piano alongside family members during the evening marking the end of Yom Kippur.

"Thanks to your prayers, Yonatan is improving. Please continue," Rika Razel wrote in the post, thanking followers for their support. The video has brought joy to his many fans.

Razel, 53, is a prominent figure in Israeli and Jewish music, known for compositions like "Vehi She'amda" and "Katoniti." He experienced a serious medical event in early June, which led to his hospitalization at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem. His condition was initially critical, prompting public calls for prayer.

Following prompt medical treatment, his condition stabilized, and he remained fully conscious. Razel was released from the hospital after about two and a half weeks and has since attended family events, including his daughter's engagement party. He is currently undergoing a gradual rehabilitation process.
