Young Man Critically Injured After Car Hits Pole in Rahat
A young man, approximately 20 years old, sustained critical injuries early this morning when his vehicle collided with a utility pole in the city of Rahat in the Negev region. Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that its emergency center received a call about the incident at 6:25 AM. Ambulance crews arrived at the scene and provided medical treatment to the injured man before transporting him to Soroka Hospital in serious and unstable condition.
An MDA paramedic, Anas Abu Dabas, stated that the vehicle suffered severe damage. He added that medical teams had to sedate the victim and provide him with artificial respiration before transferring him via intensive care ambulance to Soroka Hospital for treatment. The young man remains in serious condition.
