Victim of West Bank Spring Attack Identified as Father of Six
The victim of a shooting attack at a spring near the settlement of Neve Tzuf in the Benjamin region has been identified as Natanel Shicron, a father of six children from the settlement of Eli Zahav. The attack occurred on Friday.
Shicron was reportedly on his way to pray at the spring, a popular site for Israelis, when he was shot and killed. The motive for the attack is currently under investigation, but it is being treated as a terrorist incident by Israeli security forces.
Following the attack, Israeli security forces launched a manhunt for the perpetrators. Checkpoints were set up in the area, and a large-scale search operation was initiated. No arrests have been reported as of Saturday evening.
The attack has drawn widespread condemnation from Israeli officials, who have vowed to bring those responsible to justice. The incident has also raised concerns about the security situation in the West Bank, particularly in light of recent escalations in violence.
