Hamas Terrorist Who Murdered Israeli Near Neve Tzuf Captured Alive

The terrorist who murdered an Israeli civilian in a shooting attack near the settlement of Neve Tzuf on the eve of Yom Kippur has been captured alive. Israeli forces from the Duvdevan Unit located the suspect in a hospital in Ramallah, where he was found in bed connected to a ventilator. Initial reports indicate the terrorist arrived at the scene in a vehicle, exited armed with a long rifle, and opened fire at close range on a young man who was present. The terrorist fled the scene on foot after the attack. A tracker who was in the vicinity shot and wounded the assailant before he could escape.

Following the deadly attack, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed the IDF and Shin Bet to operate with reinforced forces in Judea and Samaria. The directive included imposing lockdowns, conducting offensive operations and arrests, and immediately demolishing the terrorist's home. The terrorist surrendered without his weapon to the Duvdevan forces at the hospital.
