IDF Captures Terrorist Who Killed Israeli Near Neve Tzuf

The suspect was located and arrested at a hospital near the attack site. Military sources stated that minutes after the attack, a sniper in the vicinity engaged the terrorist, wounding him. Despite his injury, the suspect managed to escape before being found at the medical facility. Footage from the aftermath shows individuals seeking cover near a spring, with the sounds of gunfire audible in the background. A paramedic described the efforts to save the victim's life, stating, "We extracted the casualty from the vehicle and immediately began providing life-saving medical assistance. We transferred him to an ambulance and immediately headed to the hospital, continuing resuscitation procedures. En route, we fought for his life and administered medication, hoping his condition would stabilize." IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir ordered an increase in forces deployed to search for the terrorist. Commander of the Judea and Samaria Police District Major General Moshe Finchi and Samaria District Head Senior Commissioner Avi Cohen also arrived at the scene. Hamas had previously reacted to the shooting attack near the settlement of Halamish in the Benjamin region, which resulted in an Israeli fatality. The organization welcomed the attacker's actions, linking the incident to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's policies concerning the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
