Israeli Forces Capture West Bank Shooting Attack Suspect Within Hours
Israeli security forces apprehended the suspect in a fatal shooting attack near the settlement of Neve Tzuf in the Benjamin region on Sunday, within three hours of the incident. The suspect was captured alive by forces from the Duvdevan Unit in the Ramallah area. According to reports, a tracker from the brigade who was at the scene of the morning attack managed to shoot the assailant before he fled, wounding him. The suspect then escaped to a hospital near the attack site in al-Bireh, where soldiers located him. "Security forces will act to bring every terrorist to justice and close the circle against anyone who tries to harm Israeli citizens and IDF forces," the IDF stated. The victim, a 30-year-old man, was shot and killed at the Ein Ra'aya spring near Neve Tzuf. He was evacuated to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva in critical condition, where his death was pronounced.
