Israeli Forces Search for Gunman After Fatal Shooting Near Ramallah
An Israeli man was killed in a shooting attack near the settlement of Nofei Tzufit, close to Ramallah, on Tuesday morning. The Israeli military reported that forces were dispatched to the scene following initial reports of gunfire. Magen David Adom, Israel's national emergency medical service, stated that its emergency center received a report of a shooting incident near Nofei Tzufit around 11:29 AM. Paramedics arriving at the scene provided medical treatment to a man approximately 30 years old who was unconscious. He was later pronounced dead.
The military confirmed that security forces were continuing their operations in the area and investigating the circumstances of the attack. The search for the shooter remained ongoing.
