Yeshiva Student Bitten by Venomous Snake in Ashdod
A 17-year-old yeshiva student was bitten by a snake overnight in the courtyard of the "Meirat Shmuel" yeshiva on Mishmar HaYarden Street in Ashdod. Initial reports from the scene indicated the snake was venomous, and the student's condition caused concern.
Medical teams who were rushed to the scene provided initial treatment. He was subsequently transported by intensive care ambulance to Assuta Hospital in Ashdod. Paramedic Tal Flax and EMTs Dor Friedman and Gabriel Momko from United Hatzalah stated, "We were informed that he was bitten on the hand by a snake. After the initial treatment we provided, he was evacuated for further care at the hospital in stable condition and conscious."
