Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Highway 1 Accident Near Ben Gurion Airport
A motorcyclist, approximately 30 years old, sustained critical injuries in a collision with a vehicle on Highway 1 near the Ben Gurion Airport interchange. Emergency medical services received the initial report of the accident at 9:21 PM. MDA (Magen David Adom) teams arrived at the scene to find the man with impaired consciousness and severe trauma. They provided life-saving treatment and transported him via a mobile intensive care unit to Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer. The motorcyclist was suffering from a head injury.
The driver of the car involved in the incident received medical attention at the scene but did not require hospitalization. MDA paramedics Yishai Mor, Peniel Buskila, and Tal Sinai described finding the motorcyclist lying beside the road, unconscious and severely injured after being hit by a car. They administered immediate medical care and evacuated him to the hospital in serious condition.
