Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Highway 1 Collision Near Ben Gurion Airport
A motorcyclist, approximately 30 years old, was seriously injured Saturday evening in a collision with a car on Highway 1 near the Ben Gurion Airport interchange. Emergency medical services received the report at 9:21 PM and dispatched teams to the scene.
Paramedics provided initial medical treatment to the motorcyclist, who was found lying beside the road in a state of clouded consciousness and suffering from severe head trauma. He was transported by a Magen David Adom intensive care ambulance to Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer.
The driver of the car involved in the accident received medical attention at the scene but did not require hospitalization. Magen David Adom paramedics described the scene, stating they saw the motorcyclist with severe injuries after being hit by a vehicle and provided life-saving treatment before his evacuation to the hospital in critical condition.
