Rebbe of Sanz-Zmigrod Performs Tashlikh Ritual in Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park

The Grand Rabbi of Sanz-Zmigrod performed the Tashlikh ritual on Thursday evening at the "Seven Mills" complex in Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park. During the ceremony, the Rebbe, accompanied by his Hasidim, recited prayers and cast their sins into the water. Following the ritual, the Rebbe blew a shofar, causing the fish in the water to tremble, which the report describes as creating an atmosphere of "fear of God."

The Tashlikh ritual, traditionally performed on the afternoon before Yom Kippur, involves symbolically casting away sins into a body of water. This year, numerous Hasidic rebbes across various communities conducted the ritual, often with unique customs, such as using ornamental fish in bowls or performing the ceremony by lakes and the sea. These events were widely documented and shared within the Hasidic community.
