Rabbi Yair Frank Appointed Head of Moriah Yeshiva Amidst Rabbi Harel's Medical Leave

Rabbi Yair Frank has been appointed as the new head of the Moriah Yeshiva, stepping in for Rabbi Erla Harel, who is taking a sabbatical due to medical reasons. Rabbi Harel underwent vocal cord surgery and is expected to require a lengthy recovery period, potentially involving further operations. Consequently, he will be taking a year-long leave from his leadership role at the yeshiva.

Rabbi Frank, who also serves as the rabbi of the Amichai settlement, will lead the institution alongside the existing senior staff. New personnel are also expected to join the yeshiva's team. This leadership transition occurs during a period of growth for Moriah Yeshiva. The institution recently concluded a successful fundraising campaign and is now preparing for continued development, encompassing both spiritual advancement and the physical expansion of the yeshiva.
