Rabbi Yoel Frank Appointed Leader of Giv'atayim's 'Gevurat Mordechai' Community

After many years of leadership by Rabbi Avraham Wasserman, who recently moved to Petah Tikva, Rabbi Yoel Frank has been appointed as the new rabbi of the Gevurat Mordechai synagogue and community center in Giv'atayim. The synagogue, located at 32 Harav Herzog Street, serves not only as a place of worship but also as an active Torah and community center offering classes, events, and activities for local residents.

Rabbi Frank, a resident of Eli Zahav, brings extensive rabbinical and communal experience. He began his studies at Mercaz HaRav Yeshiva in Jerusalem and continued for many years at Ma'ale Adumim Yeshiva. He has served as a rabbi in the Israel Prison Service, providing spiritual guidance and Torah activities for inmates. Later, he was head of the community Beit Midrash in Ariel and contributed to expanding the city's Torah initiatives.

The Gevurat Mordechai community expressed hope that Rabbi Frank will continue and strengthen the synagogue's religious, educational, and communal activities, further developing it as a spiritual hub for Giv'atayim and surrounding areas.
