Rabbi Aryeh Leib Ravitz Appointed Chief Rabbi of 'Anshei Maaseh' Community in Petah Tikva

On Monday, the 'Anshei Maaseh' community in the Kfar Ganim neighborhood of Petah Tikva celebrated the official appointment of Rabbi Aryeh Leib Ravitz as their chief rabbi. Rabbi Ravitz, a prominent leader from the Hebron community, was honored in a ceremony attended by community members, rabbis, public figures, and numerous guests who filled the synagogue. The event was marked by a special atmosphere reflecting the community's growth and vitality.

The appointment received endorsements from leading Torah authorities, including Rabbi David Cohen, head of the Hebron Yeshiva, who supported the process from the start, as well as Rabbi Shraga Steinman and Rabbi Amram Fried. Among the distinguished attendees were Rabbi Micha Halevi, Chief Rabbi of Petah Tikva; Rabbi Yosef Hebroni, head of the Hebron Yeshiva; Rabbi Nathan Zuckovsky of Gaon Yaakov Yeshiva; Rabbi Ben Zion Azrai of Ateret Yisrael Yeshiva; and Rabbi Zevulun Kahana of Torat Shlomo Yeshiva, alongside other community rabbis.

Petah Tikva Mayor Rami Greenberg praised the community's impressive development and Rabbi Ravitz's longstanding contributions. Rabbi Avraham Pachter, director of the city's Haredi Culture Unit, also honored the event, highlighting his close collaboration with the community. Rabbi Ravitz expressed his gratitude during the ceremony, reciting the "Shehecheyanu" blessing, and received his official appointment letter signed by leading rabbis. The festive atmosphere was enhanced by musical performances from Tzvika Bender's orchestra and singer Yoni Berger.

Founded about three years ago, the 'Anshei Maaseh' community consists mainly of yeshiva graduates who actively integrate into professional life and contribute to various sectors. Rabbi Ravitz's appointment marks a significant milestone in the community's ongoing growth and influence in the region.
