Former Australian League MVP Jaylen Adams Signs With Maccabi Ramat Gan

Maccabi Ramat Gan announced on Saturday the signing of American guard Jaylen Adams, 30, as their fifth foreign player for the upcoming season under coach Elad Hasin. Adams brings a notable resume to the Israeli team, having played 44 games in the NBA for the Atlanta Hawks, Milwaukee Bucks, and Portland Trail Blazers, averaging 2.7 points, 1.7 assists, and 1.5 rebounds.

After struggling to establish himself in the NBA, Adams moved to the Australian league, where he became a star. He led the Sydney Kings to the championship in the 2021-2022 season, averaging 20.1 points, 6 assists, and 5.1 rebounds, earning him the league's MVP award. His performance in Australia led to a move to Europe, where he signed with Crvena Zvezda of the EuroLeague.

However, his stint in the EuroLeague was brief; he played only three games, averaging 5.7 points and 2.7 assists, and was released in November. He subsequently played in China, Libya, and most recently with Brisbane in Australia, where he averaged 12.8 points and 5.3 assists last season.
