Ramat Gan signs American-Jewish guard Justin Allen, with Jerusalem also interested
Ramat Gan has signed guard Justin Allen, as the club looks to improve after finishing ninth last season and missing the playoffs. The move was announced on June 26, 2026, and comes as the team prepares for the 2026/2027 campaign.
Allen, 22, is 1.98 meters tall and played this season for Green Bay in the NCAA. Because he is an American of Jewish descent, he will count as an Israeli player in the Israeli Premier League.
He drew significant attention in the league, with Hapoel Jerusalem among the teams that had shown interest in him after his strong college season. It was Allen’s first year in college basketball.
He averaged 13.6 points per game, shooting 48% from the field and 25.3% from three-point range, along with 3.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists.
