Hapoel Ramat Gan Signs Defender Omer Yitzhaki Ahead of 2026/27 Season
Hapoel Ramat Gan-Givatayim has announced the signing of 24-year-old defender Omer Yitzhaki as part of its squad building for the 2026/27 season. Yitzhaki, who grew up in Maccabi Tel Aviv's youth system and captained their youth team, gained experience on loan at Beitar Tel Aviv Bat Yam and Hapoel Kfar Saba before moving abroad to play for Dila Gori in Georgia's top league. There, he made 26 appearances and helped the club qualify for the Conference League qualifiers. In January 2025, Yitzhaki returned to Israel to join Ironi Tiberias, competing in the Israeli Premier League for the past season and a half.
The coaching staff, led by Masai Dago, monitored Yitzhaki closely and were impressed by his professional skills, international experience, and character. They believe he will integrate well into the squad and contribute significantly in the Premier League. Yitzhaki expressed his excitement about joining the club, praising its passionate fan base and promising to give his all in training and matches to help the team achieve its goals and reach new heights.
The signing reflects Hapoel Ramat Gan-Givatayim's active efforts to strengthen its roster ahead of the upcoming season, aiming to build a competitive team in Israel's top football division.
