Newly promoted Hapoel Ramat Gan/Givatayim continued its preparations for the 2026/27 season on Tuesday by announcing two new signings after earning promotion to the Premier League. The club brought in 22-year-old striker Idan Baranes on loan from Hapoel Tel Aviv through the end of the season.
Baranes joined Hapoel Tel Aviv after being bought from Maccabi Netanya, and he spent last season on loan at Ironi Tiberias. Hapoel also signed 22-year-old winger Amit Tzur, who came through Maccabi Tel Aviv and was once part of Israel’s youth national team. Tzur played for Hapoel Rishon LeZion last season and signed for one year with an option for another.
Baranes said he arrives determined to help the club deliver a season that will make the fans proud. He added that he was impressed by the club’s rebuild and is waiting for his first training session, saying he looks forward to hearing the red crowd chant his name. Tzur said he is excited to join what he called a new project, praised the club’s support last season, and said he is coming in more hungry than ever to produce success and achievements.
