Maccabi Ramat Gan Signs American Guard Ahmad Kayber for Upcoming Season
Maccabi Ramat Gan announced the signing of American guard Ahmad Kayber, who played last season in the G League. Kayber, 29 years old and 1.88 meters tall, is the third foreign player to join the team for the new season.
In the previous season, Kayber played for the Mexico City Capitanes in the G League, appearing in 36 games and averaging 10 points and 4 assists per game. Before that, he played in France for Nanterre. Kayber initially came to Israel during the 2023/24 season to play for Hapoel Holon but left before the season started due to the outbreak of war. Subsequently, he signed with Dijon after stints with Indiana and the Memphis G League team.
Maccabi Ramat Gan continues to strengthen its roster ahead of the new basketball season in the Israeli Premier League.
