Jerusalem Woman Murdered Over NIS 60,000 Debt, Family Claims
The family of Fatma al-Rajabi, whose body was discovered in East Jerusalem yesterday after she had been missing for several days, alleges that the suspect murdered her when she demanded repayment of a NIS 60,000 debt. According to the family, the suspect, who was reportedly burdened by gambling debts, killed al-Rajabi to eliminate the debt and subsequently hid her body in a cave near his home in the al-Tur area.
A relative, Tayseer al-Rajabi, stated that the suspect also stole al-Rajabi's gold jewelry, cash, and bank card, from which he withdrew additional funds.
