East Jerusalem Woman Missing for Days, Foul Play Suspected

Police are conducting extensive searches in the Mevaseret Zion area for Fatma Rajabi, a 65-year-old resident of East Jerusalem who has been missing for several days. The last known footage of Rajabi shows her getting into a vehicle, after which all traces of her disappeared. There is grave concern for her life, and authorities suspect she has been murdered.

Rajabi reportedly had an intimate relationship with a man who contacted one of her family members and confessed, "I did something bad." Police stated that investigative actions began immediately after the family reported her missing, and forces have been continuously working in the field using various operational and technological means to locate her as quickly as possible.

Jerusalem District Commander, Superintendent Avshalom Peled, stated that numerous and diverse investigative actions have been carried out, emphasizing the need to continue extensive searches, allocate all necessary resources, and investigate every possible lead. He assured the family that the Israel Police is doing and will continue to do everything in its power to locate the missing woman and uncover the truth behind her disappearance.

The police are also appealing to the public for assistance in locating Rajabi, urging anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to report it immediately via hotline 100 or to the Shalem police station at 02-6207410.
