East Jerusalem Woman Missing for Days, Police Suspect Foul Play

Police are conducting extensive searches in the area of Mevaseret Zion for Fatma Rajabi, a 65-year-old resident of East Jerusalem who has been missing for several days. The last known footage of Rajabi shows her getting into a vehicle, after which all traces of her disappeared. There is grave concern for her life, and authorities suspect she has been murdered.

Rajabi reportedly had an intimate relationship with a man who contacted one of her family members and confessed, "I did something bad." Police stated that investigative actions began immediately after the family reported her missing and that forces are continuously working in the field using various operational and technological means to locate her as soon as possible.

Jerusalem District Commander, Superintendent Absalom Peled, stated that numerous and varied investigative actions have been carried out, and efforts will continue with extensive searches, allocating all necessary resources, and examining every possible lead to find information about her whereabouts. He assured the family that the Israel Police is doing and will continue to do everything in its power to locate the missing woman and uncover the truth surrounding her disappearance.

The police are also appealing to the public for assistance in locating Rajabi, urging anyone with information that could aid the search or details regarding her location to report it immediately via emergency number 100 or to the Shalem police station at 02-6207410.
