East Jerusalem Man Arrested in Connection with Missing Woman's Death
Police in East Jerusalem have arrested a resident of the area on suspicion of murder and involvement in the disappearance of Fatma Al-Rajabi, who had been missing since the beginning of the week. Following intensive investigative efforts since the arrest, officers located a scene in East Jerusalem where a woman's body was found. The identity of the deceased is not yet confirmed, and the body has been transferred to the Forensic Institute for identification and determination of the cause of death.
The suspect, in his 60s, is scheduled to appear before the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court on Tuesday, with police requesting an extension of his detention.
