Gaza Shelling and Building Collapse Kill 3, Injure Children

Medical and local sources in the Gaza Strip reported that three people were killed and others injured, including women and children, due to Israeli gunfire and shelling in various areas. The casualties occurred concurrently with a partial collapse of a damaged residential building, which injured five children.

Karam Musaad Al-Masar'a succumbed to wounds sustained from Israeli forces' fire in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. The area northeast of the Bureij camp was subjected to artillery shelling. In Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, the eastern and southern areas experienced tank and helicopter fire, along with naval shelling targeting the coast. Israeli airstrikes also hit areas in Rafah, and gunfire was reported east of Gaza City.

Medical sources in Gaza stated that three individuals were killed by Israeli forces' fire in scattered areas of the Strip since Friday morning. Press sources announced one death from shelling near the American pier south of Gaza City, and another person was critically injured in shelling near Al-Bader on Al-Rasheed Street in the city's west.

Five children sustained minor injuries when a partially damaged residential building, already affected by Israeli shelling, partially collapsed in the Al-Sabra neighborhood in southern Gaza City. The children were trapped inside the building at the time of the incident. Mahmoud Bsal, spokesperson for the Civil Defense in Gaza, confirmed that the number of injured children rose to five, stating that Civil Defense crews rescued them and they suffered minor injuries. This incident follows a similar one three days prior, where the collapse of the "Al-Saada Building" in the industrial area west of Gaza City resulted in 21 deaths, including 12 children, and several injuries.

Other developments in Gaza included gunfire directed at displaced persons' tents in the Mawasi Khan Younis area, and an incident of gunfire that injured a woman in the mouth in the Mawasi area. Field sources also reported the demolition of residential buildings in northern Gaza and artillery shelling targeting the Mawasi area of Rafah. A tent near the Al-Taqwa mosque in northern Gaza City was hit by shelling, killing one person and injuring others. These events occur amid continued alleged violations of the ceasefire agreement, with ongoing targeting in several Gaza areas on Friday, according to medical and press sources.
