Health Ministry Lifts Boil Water Advisory for Most of Carmiel

The Israeli Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday the lifting of the requirement to boil water before consumption, food preparation, medication preparation, and teeth brushing for the majority of the city of Carmiel. This decision follows satisfactory water sampling results across most of the city and the implementation of corrective actions by the water corporation.

However, the advisory remains in effect for specific areas within Carmiel. Residents and facilities in the Carmiel industrial zone, the Mefasdim neighborhood (including specific streets like HaGalil, Tzahal, HaHaruv, HaZayit, HaGafen, HaTe'ena, Kalanit, HaEmek, and others), and the Southern neighborhood (including specific streets and building numbers) must continue to boil their water.

Additionally, several public institutions and locations in Carmiel are still subject to the water boiling directive. These include the Carmiel Cultural Hall, the Histadrut House, the Municipal Community Center, the stadium, the conservatory, the library, Ohl Baruch, the shooting range, and Ofira Park.
