Hasidic Rabbi Holds Tashlich Ceremony in Bnei Brak
Renowned Hasidic influencer Rabbi Elimelech Biderman held a Tashlich ceremony last night in the courtyard of a local synagogue in Bnei Brak. Children present at the event, eager to witness the rabbi's devotional practices, filled a large bin with water. Rabbi Biderman then stood beside the bin and recited the Tashlich prayers with great fervor.
Tashlich is a customary Jewish ritual performed annually on the first day of Rosh Hashanah, where participants symbolically cast away their sins into a body of water. The ceremony, often performed near flowing water like rivers or seas, symbolizes the casting away of sins. In this instance, the use of a large water bin served as a substitute for a natural water source.
