Maccabi Netanya Makes Official Offer for Midfielder Yahav Gorfinkel

Maccabi Netanya has submitted an official offer for midfielder Yahav Gorfinkel, though financial differences remain between the club and the player. The team was active during the recent transfer window, signing four new players: Brazilian winger Isaac Rodrigues de Lima, Benin national team defender Olivier Verdon, Romanian midfielder Gabriel Simion, and forward Ayalon Almog.

Almog is expected to be in the squad for Saturday's match against his former club, Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he will wear the number 9 jersey. He has reportedly shown good form in his first training session.

Regarding Gorfinkel, the club is awaiting approval from owner Ross Kassin to bridge the financial gap. Meanwhile, coach Roni Levy is considering his lineup for the upcoming game. Maor Levy, who completed a full training session despite a recent injury, might start. If he doesn't, Basem Zaroura could play further upfield, with Nadav Nidam and Aziz Ouattara in central midfield.

Youngster Alex Talpa is set to replace Dolev Haziza, who returns after an ankle injury layoff. The defense is unlikely to change despite a recent loss. Simion is expected to arrive today, but Verdon will not be in the squad immediately as the club plans to integrate new players gradually to avoid injuries and work on their coordination during the international break.
