Ovad Buzaglo Hospitalized Voluntarily for Psychiatric Evaluation
Former soccer player and coach Ovad Buzaglo announced on Thursday via his Instagram story that he had voluntarily admitted himself to the Abarbanel Medical Center. Buzaglo stated, "To all those asking where I disappeared to, I was hospitalized by consent... the truth is with me." He later reassured his followers, "Of course, I was released."
According to a report by Liat Markovitz on "Mako Celebrities," Buzaglo's hospitalization stemmed from a request by two friends who asked him to undergo an examination to determine if he suffered from schizophrenia. At the medical institution, he received an official diagnosis confirming he did not have the condition, and he was subsequently discharged.
The report did not specify when the hospitalization occurred or provide further details on the friends' motivations.
