Reality Star Ohad Buzaglo Hospitalized for Mental Health Treatment

Reality television personality Ohad Buzaglo, 44, revealed on Thursday that he voluntarily admitted himself to the mental health institution "Abarbanel" for treatment. Buzaglo, who gained fame through the reality series "The Buzaglos" and later participated in "Survivor Israel," had previously claimed a year ago to have experienced a "spiritual revelation" where he believed he was Moses reincarnated and adopted the role of a modern prophet.

Buzaglo had been absent from social media for a period, during which he regularly updated followers with his prophecies. He reappeared with a cryptic Instagram story displaying the gematria (numerological value) of the word "Abarbanel" as 285, which he equated to the phrase "Ohad woke up from the dream." He captioned the post, "For all those asking where I disappeared to, I was hospitalized consensually. The truth is with me."

In another post, Buzaglo shared the gematria for "Ohad Buzaglo in a committee at Abarbanel" as 444, a number he linked to various religious phrases including "You are the Lord," "God the Messiah," and "David, a rib from my ribs." He confirmed his subsequent release from the facility.

Buzaglo's public profile grew significantly through the docu-reality show about his famous family. Before his television appearances, he had a brief career as a footballer but did not play in the top league. He became a notable social media figure due to his ostentatious lifestyle and relationships until his self-proclaimed spiritual awakening last year.
