Israeli Forces Capture Terrorist in West Bank Refugee Camp Raid
Elite Israeli police unit 'Gideonim' (33) from Lahav 433, in cooperation with the Shin Bet and the Samaria Brigade, conducted a counter-terrorism raid in the heart of the Balata refugee camp in the West Bank. During the operation, a Tanzim operative was located.
As officers moved to arrest the suspect, he attempted to flee and resisted. The operative was shot in the legs during the apprehension. Video footage of the raid was released.
The operation involved undercover officers, known as 'Mista'arvim', who are trained to blend in with the local population. The raid highlights ongoing efforts by Israeli security forces to counter militant activity in Palestinian territories.
