Israeli Forces Capture Senior Hamas Operative in Nablus Raid

Israeli security forces, operating under the guise of civilians, conducted a swift and successful operation in Nablus on Wednesday to apprehend a senior Hamas operative. The raid targeted an electronics store, where the wanted individual was located. The forces, identified as the Gideonim unit, entered the store disguised as civilians and quickly apprehended the target.

The operation, led by the Samaria Brigade in close cooperation with the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), aimed to thwart terrorism and arrest a high-priority wanted individual. The target was described as a 35-year-old Tanzim activist from the village of Kafr Khalil, with significant access to weaponry.

Upon entering the premises, the operative attempted to flee and resisted arrest physically. The Israeli forces responded by firing precise shots at his legs, neutralizing him. Following the neutralization, the soldiers provided immediate medical attention before taking him into custody. The apprehended individual was then transferred to Shin Bet facilities for further interrogation.

No Israeli forces were injured during the operation, which was deemed a complete success by security officials. The raid occurred in the Balata refugee camp, described as a 'terror hub' in Nablus.
