The initiative is designed to support young families aiming to purchase or build their first residence.
The launch event, held at the Al-Ghazali Science and Arts Center, saw significant attendance from local residents and garnered considerable interest in the new housing project. Dr. Samir Mahamid, Mayor of Umm Al-Fahm, highlighted the municipality's efforts to remove obstacles and streamline procedures for residents seeking affordable housing. He stressed the value of the "My First Home" program in providing professional guidance for sound financial decision-making.

Manal Khoury, a mortgage consultant from Aujen, and economic advisor Amir Blan outlined the eight-month financial guidance program, which includes consultations, bank liaison, and payment arrangements to help participants navigate the mortgage process confidently. The event concluded with individual consultations and plans for follow-up sessions, addressing the community's strong need for information. Aujen is inviting eligible families to utilize the program, which offers tools for expense management, capital increase, cost reduction, understanding mortgages, and financial negotiation. The organization plans to expand the "My First Home" program to other Arab towns and cities soon.
