Chef Meir Barel to Lead Culinary Vision at KADMON Boutique Hotel in Tiberias
Renowned chef Meir Barel has been appointed to spearhead the culinary direction at the KADMON boutique hotel in Tiberias. Barel brings extensive experience, including co-ownership of the Pit Master restaurant, graduation from the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in France, and leadership of the "Professional Chef" course at OrT Dan Gourmet College.
Under Barel's guidance, the hotel's kitchen will focus on a distinct and meticulous culinary approach. This will involve using high-quality ingredients, employing professional cooking techniques, and emphasizing creativity and culinary innovation. The aim is to create dishes that are not only delicious but also visually appealing, with attention to texture and precision.
Barel's role will encompass the entire culinary operation, from menu planning and dish development to establishing the overall culinary concept and managing the kitchen staff. He has also gained experience in establishing and leading kosher kitchens globally, demonstrating a deep understanding of kosher dietary laws and the ability to deliver high-level cuisine within these constraints.
The KADMON hotel, which features 46 rooms, operates under the strict kosher supervision of Badatz Eda Haredit. The hotel views its culinary offerings as a central component of the guest experience, aiming to blend refined hospitality with a unique atmosphere and a high-caliber kitchen.
Barel stated, "My goal at KADMON is to build a kitchen with a clear identity and its own culinary language. Even within the world of kosher cuisine, it is possible to create a very high-level kitchen with excellent ingredients, precise techniques, and creative thinking. We want the food to be an integral part of the hospitality experience, and for every dish to tell KADMON's culinary story."
