Two Critical Fall Incidents Leave Youngsters Fighting for Lives

Emergency responders in Israel were simultaneously dealing with two severe fall incidents on Thursday morning. In Bnei Brak, rescue teams performed CPR on a young yeshiva student, approximately 20 years old, who fell from the fifth floor of a dormitory building on Uziyahu Street. His condition was described as extremely serious.

Concurrently, in Kiryat Yam, a toddler around two years old fell from a height of approximately four stories. Paramedics provided immediate medical treatment, including resuscitation efforts, to the unconscious child who was not breathing. The child was evacuated by a mobile intensive care unit to Rambam Hospital in Haifa in critical condition, with medical teams continuing to fight for his life.

These incidents add to a recent string of serious falls involving children and teenagers in Israel. Just the day before, a 13-year-old boy was moderately injured in a fall from a window at his educational institution in Bnei Brak. Last week, a two-year-old baby girl fell from a height of about a meter in Bnei Brak and was taken to Schneider Hospital in moderate condition.
