Man Charged with Assaulting Ex-Partner, Threatening to Kidnap Her to Territories

A man in his 30s from Kafr Qasim has been indicted for threatening and assaulting his estranged partner, after allegedly attempting to force her into his car, strangling her, and threatening to murder her brother and kidnap her to the territories. The indictment follows an investigation by Kafr Qasim police, which began last week after a report of a man trying to force a woman into a vehicle.

According to police, during the incident, the suspect used violence against the woman and smashed a car window with a concrete slab. Police located and arrested the suspect, a resident of Kafr Qasim in his 30s.

Investigators learned that the suspect and the woman, who are separating, met near the college where she studies. The suspect arrived in his car with their minor children and tried to persuade her to return to him. When she refused, he allegedly attacked her, strangled her, lifted her, and tried to force her into his car while she struggled and attempted to escape. He also threatened her, saying, "If you don't come with me, I will kill your brothers, shoot them, and kidnap you to the territories."

Following the investigation, the Central District Attorney's Office filed an indictment against the suspect for the offenses attributed to him.
