Man Arrested After Threatening Ex-Partner's Colleague with Knife

Police in the Sharon region arrested a foreign national last week on suspicion of arriving at a factory in Kadima-Tzoran, where his ex-partner works, armed with a knife. According to the investigation, an employee at the factory noticed the suspect and asked him to leave. The suspect allegedly refused, pulled a knife from his bag, and began waving it.

In response, the employee drew his personal weapon, prompting the suspect to flee the scene and discard the knife. Police from the Shdodot station immediately launched a search and investigation, leading to the suspect's quick apprehension. He was found hiding on a bus.

The suspect's detention was extended periodically as the investigation progressed. Upon completion of the investigation, the Central District Attorney's Unit filed an indictment against him for the alleged offenses.
