Suspect Arrested in Tel Aviv Stabbing of Foreign Worker

Police in southern Tel Aviv have arrested a 57-year-old foreign national suspected of stabbing another foreign national on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred in southern Tel Aviv.

During his attempted escape from officers, the suspect allegedly discarded a knife, which was subsequently located and seized by police. Investigators are currently examining whether this knife was the weapon used in the stabbing.

The suspect has been taken to the southern Tel Aviv police station for questioning. Authorities plan to request an extension of his detention from the court, depending on the ongoing investigation's needs.
