IDF Strikes Dozens of Targets in Lebanon After Ceasefire Violations, at Least 12 Dead
The IDF struck dozens of targets in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa region over the past several hours, saying the attacks followed ceasefire violations by Hezbollah. According to the report, at least 12 Lebanese were killed in the strikes since midnight.
Most of the strikes were concentrated in the Nabatieh district, but attacks were also carried out in Tyre district, Jezzine district, and the Beqaa. The latest round of strikes came after what Israel described as Hezbollah breaches of the ceasefire.
Among the dead, four people were killed in the village of Barish in the Tyre district when a strike hit an inhabited house. Three others were killed in Arab Salim, and four were killed in a drone strike on a vehicle in Deir ez-Zahrani. The article does not give additional details on the remaining fatalities.
