UK Lawmaker Calls for Military Action Against Israel
A British Member of Parliament from the Labour Party, Tahir Ali, has called for "military action" against Israel, according to the Jewish Chronicle. Ali reportedly posed the question during a debate on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, asking, "Isn't it time for military action against Israel?"
Ali's remarks were made in response to comments by Liberal Democrat MP Richard Foord, who stated that "disarming Hamas must be part of any long-term solution" to the conflict. Ali then questioned, "Regarding disarmament, why don't we also call for Israel to be disarmed? Considering the horrific things Israel has done."
