Ebola Suspected in Israel After Return from Congo
Israel's Health Ministry says a person is suspected of having Ebola after returning from the Democratic Republic of Congo three days ago. The patient developed a fever and headache, prompting isolation and transfer to Rambam Health Care Campus, which has been designated as a specialized center for such cases.
Test results are expected within the next 24 hours. In parallel, health officials are carrying out an epidemiological investigation to identify anyone who may have been in contact with the patient.
The ministry stressed that, at this stage, it is only a suspicion and not a confirmed case.
