Health Ministry Circulates Ebola Response Protocol to Hospitals
Israel’s Health Ministry has sent hospitals and Magen David Adom an initial preparedness protocol for a possible Ebola case, after the outbreak in Congo and the World Health Organization’s declaration of an international health emergency. The document, published by mako Health, says a suspected patient must not go to an emergency room independently, but should instead be transferred only through a special MDA-coordinated evacuation. Only five hospitals have been designated to receive such patients.
