Israel Reportedly Aiding Saudi Arabia in Secret Yemen Conflict

Arab media outlets are reporting that Israel is secretly assisting Saudi Arabia and its allied forces in their ongoing conflict against the Houthi rebels in Yemen. These reports emerge amid heightened tensions in the region, particularly following significant Houthi gains, including the capture of the Bab al-Mandab strait area last week and the loss of extensive positions by Yemeni government forces on the west coast. The Yemeni government forces have accused elements and experts from Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps and their regional allies of direct support for the Houthi advances.

Amidst these battlefield developments, Saudi authorities recently reported activating air raid sirens in Jeddah, Taif, and even the holy city of Mecca due to a Houthi missile launch that was quickly intercepted or neutralized. These incidents coincide with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's visit to Egypt, where he is reportedly seeking to form a new military coalition to counter the Houthi threat.

Neither Israeli nor Saudi officials have officially confirmed or denied the reports regarding Israel's involvement in the Red Sea theater.
