Ten Illegal Immigrants Caught Crossing Border into Israel
Ten Palestinian residents from the West Bank were apprehended by Israeli forces on the evening of September 14, 2026, after crossing into Israel without the necessary permits. The individuals were spotted by observers from the IDF's Unit 636 as they breached the border fence from the area of Bir Nabala. Border Police forces, operating in the Jerusalem envelope area, were dispatched to the location and tracked the suspects. The observers and technological means assisted in locating them. The suspects were seen boarding a vehicle, which the Border Police then intercepted. A search of the vehicle revealed that all ten passengers were from the West Bank and lacked legal authorization to enter or remain in Israel. The driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of transporting them. All ten individuals and the driver were taken for further investigation by the Border Police in the Jerusalem envelope.
