Israir to Cancel Flights to Morocco Amid El Al's Return
Israeli airline Israir is reportedly set to cancel its newly established route to Marrakech, Morocco, just months after its launch. The decision comes despite ongoing ticket sales for the flights. Sources within Israir cited operational difficulties with Moroccan authorities as the reason for the cancellation.
In contrast, Israir's competitor, El Al, announced on Tuesday the resumption of its flights to Morocco. El Al's subsidiary, Sun D'or, will operate two weekly direct flights to the destination starting this winter. Ticket prices for El Al's flights begin at $600.
