Arab Leaders Convene Emergency Meeting Over Settlement Attempt Near Majd al-Krum

An emergency meeting was held in Majd al-Krum to address attempts to establish a settlement outpost in the al-Rous area, which belongs to local residents. The meeting included representatives from the Follow-up Committee for Arab Citizens in Israel and the National Committee of Heads of Arab Local Authorities. Attendees included Majd al-Krum Local Council head Salim Salibi, Follow-up Committee chairman Dr. Jamal Zahalqa, National Committee chairman and Sakhnin Mayor Mazen Ganaim, Sheikh Raed Salah, and Joint List head Professor Yousef Jabareen, along with candidate Dr. Faten Ghattas.

During the meeting, it was announced that a formal complaint would be filed with the police on behalf of a landowner. Additionally, official letters are being prepared for various authorities, authorized by the Majd al-Krum Council, to counter the settlement efforts.
