Jewish and Arab Leaders Demand Removal of Settler Tents in Majd al-Krum

Over 260 Jewish and Arab local leaders and activists have appealed to the Jewish National Fund (JNF) chairman, Eyal Ostrovsky, demanding action against a tent compound established in Majd al-Krum. The signatories emphasized that JNF lands should not be used to create friction between populations. The compound was reportedly set up by settlers for grazing livestock, raising concerns among local residents that it may be an attempt to establish an illegal outpost.

In their letter to the JNF, the group stated, "This is a test of the rule of law. The responsibility resting on a public institution is to prevent damage to the fabric of shared life in the Galilee." They are urging the JNF to intervene and prevent the use of its land for purposes that could incite conflict and undermine coexistence in the region.
